Michael J. Critelli, who retired from Pitney Bowes, a global mailstream and e-commerce solutions provider in 2008, has been an industry leader and innovator in diversity and inclusion programs, leadership development, transportation and environmental sustainability strategies, education and literacy philanthropy, and workplace-driven health programs. Since retirement, Mike has been a feature film producer, entrepreneur, philanthropist, and investor in multiple high-tech businesses.
Emary Aronson is the Interim Chief Program Officer for Robin Hood. In that role she has overall responsibility for Robin Hood’s programmatic efforts. Founded in 1988, Robin Hood is New York City’s largest poverty-fighting organization, which finds, funds, and partners with programs that are proven to be effective remedies to poverty and a consistent force for good in the lives of New Yorkers in need. In 2016, Robin Hood strategically invested more than $120 million in homeless shelters, soup kitchens, job training programs, charter and public schools, and other vitally important services. Until March, Emary was the Managing Director for Education. Robin Hood supports a variety of schools and education-related programs – including PowerMyLearning.
This award will be presented by a student to their teacher and to their parent. This student, along with their teacher and parent, exemplify how technology can strengthen learning relationships and create joyful learning experiences for students.
