Explore Forces
Learn about different forces as you explore with mass, balances, and magnets.
1. Super Fab Lab: Pan Balance (PBS):
- Follow the instructions from Sid and move the weights to and from the balance to make both sides even.
- Click the GREEN CHECK BUTTON to see if you are right.
2. Balancing Act (PBS):
- Add birds, bird seed, or chrysalises to both sides of the bar to explore how that changes the balance.
- Try to make the bar balanced.
3. Magnets (BBC):
- Listen to the problem at the museum.
- Choose a magnet according to its shape and size that will attract the museum items before the thief grabs it.
- If you are having a problem listen to the instructions from the spy giving you hints of which size magnet to use.
