Research Round-Up
While you can’t believe everything you read, plenty of what you read online can influence your writing. In fact, when it comes to research, the best writers are able to incorporate the ideas of others without plagiarizing their ideas. This playlist will guide you first to learn about the creation and inner workings of the Internet with an interactive storybook that you will have to read closely in order to share the book’s main ideas in your own presentation. Next, take an eagle-eyed look at Wikipedia, which is a great resource for initial research but also comes with some disadvantages that savvy researchers must be aware of. Non-fiction text isn’t the only way to incorporate what you read into what you write: comparing a fable and a poem will allow you to show that you can write about the literature you read and love, as well.
