Student response:
Students explain to their family partner about energy, and how it’s used by plants and animals. Students and family partners work together to draw a picture showing how energy flows from the sun to our bodies, through plant and animal-based foods that they like to eat. Families upload photos of their drawing!

Student response:
Students and family partners explore the relationship between an object’s position and its potential and kinetic energy. They design and build a ramp using household objects for a ball to roll down. Students and families adjust the height of the ramp and measure the distance that the ball rolls. Families take a picture of their ramp and upload it!
