Thank you for your support!
We accept donations of technology hardware including computers–both laptops and desktops–as well as tablets, printers, and other hardware to help PowerMyLearning strengthen family engagement in the homes of low-income children and enable teachers to extend learning beyond the classroom walls.
We will happily accept any laptops, preferably with the power cord.
We will happily accept any desktop computers and monitors you can contribute.
Each company is different, but often someone reporting into the Chief Information Officer or Chief Operating Officer will make the decision to direct hardware donations to us. If you know a senior IT person at your company, feel free to speak with her/him about this opportunity.
PowerMyLearning is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, and all technology hardware donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Upon receipt of your donation, we will send you an acknowledgement letter for tax purposes.
All donors of 50 or more laptops or desktop computers are recognized on our website. All donors of 500 or more laptops in a given year receive full Corporate Sponsorship benefits for that donation. Please contact Richard Hicks at techdonations@PowerMyLearning.org for more information about Corporate Sponsorships.
You may either ship the laptops/other donations or drop them off in person at one of our warehouses in Atlanta or New York City. To discuss specific shipping logistics, or if you have any questions related to your donation, please contact Richard Hicks at techdonations@PowerMyLearning.org.
Yes, we would love extra laptop power cords because we sometimes receive laptop donations without power cords.
We welcome the opportunity to discuss other possible donations, such as iPads, other tablets, USB flash drives, and surge protectors for families. Please contact Richard Hicks at techdonations@PowerMyLearning.org to discuss your donation.
