    Dr. Michelle Pyo serves as the interim Executive Director and oversees the successful implementation of PowerMyLearning's programs at school and district partners nationwide. She leads internal training and professional development for all PowerMyLearning coaching staff. Michelle comes to PowerMyLearning with expertise in school leadership, educator coaching and development, and instructional design with a lens on educational equity.

    Prior to joining PowerMyLearning, Michelle served as an Assistant Principal and Interim Principal of a Los Angeles middle school with a strong focus on improving students' academic and SEL outcomes. She has also served as a Special Education compliance leader, an instructional coach, and teacher of secondary mathematics.

    Michelle earned a Doctorate in Education with a focus on Teacher Education in Multicultural Societies from the University of Southern California, a Master’s in Secondary Mathematics Education from the University of California, Los Angeles, and a Bachelor’s in Cognitive Neuroscience from the University of California, Berkeley.
